Rob lives in Fife, Scotland and mainly works with acrylics on canvas* or aluminium. Rob often works in additional acrylic inks to expand upon the possibilities of tube acrylics. Rob is a highly technical and fastidious painter with a background in illustration. Everything he paints is carefully conceived, carefully planned and then meticulously executed. Rob uses the best quality paints, inks, surfaces and materials available.

Rob is inspired by both the banal and the bizarre...often combining the two. His painted work is highly conceptual and leans towards and into Surrealism.
